Please contact me before shipping your amplifier. I will confirm the service and provide shipping instructions.
When contacting me, please include your amplifier’s brand, model, and a short description of the problem or modification you are interested in.
If you are shipping an amplifier for repair or modification, please wait until we have discussed the work and confirmed the shipping arrangements. This helps avoid delays and makes sure I have the information needed before your amplifier arrives.

MetalHead Electronics offers the original high-gain Marshall modifications I developed in North Hollywood, California, during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
These modifications were developed to give Marshall amplifiers more gain, longer sustain, and better control over their sound.
If you are interested in modifying your Marshall, contact me with the model number and the sound you are looking for.
Different Marshall models have different circuits, so I need to know which amplifier you own before recommending a modification. You can also tell me whether you want more gain, a master volume, an effects loop, or another improvement.
I can explain which MetalHead modifications are available for your amplifier and what is involved in having the work performed.
TUBE AMP REPAIR QUESTIONS
I provide professional tube amp repair services for different amplifier brands.
Whether your amplifier has unwanted noise, low output, intermittent problems, or has stopped working, I can help determine what needs attention.
When contacting me about a repair, please include the amplifier manufacturer, model, and a description of the problem.
It also helps to know when the problem started and whether it happens all the time or only after the amplifier has been running for a while.
If the amplifier has been repaired or modified before, please mention that as well. Previous work can sometimes be important when diagnosing a problem.
